What to Expect When You Reach Out
What happens when I call?
Jeannine picks up. You’ll tell her your dog’s breed, size, and what kind of groom you want. She’ll give you a price estimate, answer any questions, and get you on the schedule. The whole call takes a few minutes.
What should I tell you on the first call?
Breed, size, coat condition, and the cut you’re looking for. If your dog has any health issues, skin sensitivities, or anxiety around grooming, mention those too. The more you share upfront, the smoother your first appointment goes.
How far out are you booking?
It depends on the season. Spring and the weeks before the holidays fill up fast. Calling a few weeks ahead is a good idea. Call us and we’ll tell you exactly what’s open.
Do I need to bring anything to the appointment?
Your dog, and proof of rabies vaccination. A photo on your phone is fine. We just need to check the expiration date. If your puppy hasn’t had their first rabies shot yet, no problem. They’re still welcome. If you have a photo of a cut you like, bring that too. Jeannine will note it and keep it on file for future visits.
What if I can’t pick my dog up right away?
Your dog can stay all day. Water and bathroom breaks are provided at no extra charge. Just make sure pickup is by 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
